Revision work of a boiler

Scope of services:

Remanufacture / Reconstruction of superheater bundel at the boiler 1K8 as well as renewal of the nozzle floor in the fluidized bed chamber. Realization of the revision work in form of an annual shut down of two weeks, around 40 to 50 professionals are operating day and night. The revision work is realized in form of a service package which means that BIS VAM works as an independent team of assemblymen, welding operators, material tester, welding engineer, safety coordinator and construction manager inclusively the supply of the necessary infrastructure at the construction site.
A special service that leads to top quality within a short period of time and amongst hardest conditions.

Revision work of the nuclear power plant Beznau / Switzerland

Scope of services:

Provision of highly qualified professionals out of the field of pipework for industrial purposes as well as welding operators for the annual revision work at block I and block II of the nuclear power plant Beznau. Works are realized from the power house up to the reactor area.

The nuclear power plant Beznau consists of two quite similar plants: block I and block II. They have a rated power of 365 MW each. Both plants are basic load plants which means that they are generating electricity at a constant level of rated power while operating day and night. The exception is two to four weeks each summer while the plants are shut down due to the annual revision and the change of fuel elements.
